Really have tremendous resect for this young recording artist.  She blew us away with her tales and songs based on her own experiences.  Sparsely done with Matt Aronoff on stand up bass, the team worked up the audience to nearly tears as Jo weaved her melodies and and fine vocals with wonderful imagery.

Perez Jazz presented another great afternoon of modern jazz in her ongoing monthly
series of House Duo Concerts.

So moved was I that I want to give Jo a hug myself but I see that both Perez and Matt beat me to it.
No wonder STING has her on stage with him.
The next House Duo Concert will be on May 19th and will feature Perez on vocals and Paul Bollenback on guitar.  Lunch at 2pm, music at 3pm. $20 suggested donation, BYOB. Message Perez Jazz Perez for more details

Ten years ago my partner Sara Signorelli received a generous grant from The Council of Arts and Humanities on Staten Island and we set upon finding an abandoned building to turn into an ART GALLERY.  The building was the unused ST GEORGE THEATRE and we cleaned it up and invited the art community to join us for a great weekend show and exhibit.  CONFESSIONS...NOT BORING ONES was a huge success with bands on the stage, performance artists in the basement and art throughout.   Now with some of the same musicians and artists we once again descended on this wonderful theatre which just happens to be the third largest venue in New York and made magic happen again. Over 600 hundred tickets were sold and special thanks to the Theatre's owner Doreen Cugno for believing in us.
